What do you get when you combine French thyme, savory, fennel, rosemary, marjoram, basil, lavender and tarragon? You get that classic herb blend known as HDP, or Herbes de Provence, which we use to make a simple syrup.

I hit the jackpot when I met Miss Jane Nickles, the lead wine educator at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin. I asked her for a few tips on wine and food pairing to share on the website, and she provided me with a Master's Class. Well, maybe that's an exaggeration, but not by much!
